it's a slightly annoying process, as you have to register and then check your email for a password, then log in and then try to find where the hell the voting page has gone!

if you've gotten that far, and can't find a link back to the voting page on the main page.. try loading http://www.vibewire.net/imagescomp/ again. and, if it's telling you that you still need to register, hit F5 to refresh the page.

my image is top left, of the kiddies! you'll probably remember me posting about this like 6 months. well, vibewire have finally gotten their act together and set up a voting facility.

hello!

time to finalise details for the photo swap. thank you to those who've emailed me with their address. could everyone else please email me your postal address and we can let the swapping begin!

oh, one other detail. does anyone have any problems with 8x10 (or 8x12 depending on your chosen format) as the set size for photos?

in other news: going to see jason molina at the metro tomorrow night, anyone else going!?

the photo swap is on!

thank you to everyone who's replied so far. I think we'll close the swap this Sunday, in the afternoon (Sydney time!), so there's still time to opt in if you're interested.

Email me your postal addresses and possibly a suggestion (or example) as to what kind of photos you like, and I will randomly allocate you a swap partner. Once the allocations are done, I'll email you the address and preferences of your partner, and you then choose an image to post to them.

Ideally, everyone should post their pictures within a week so that everyone knows when to expect their photos.

If this works well it might be nice to do it again before the [non denominational/ insert gift swapping festival of your choice here] season?

I have been thinking of organising a photo swap and want to get an idea of how many of you would be interested.

I would coordinate the swap so that everyone who was interested would get a photo from somebody else.

We could set a standard print size and quality, and all you'd only have to pay postage.

We could go further and specify types of image, or leave it up to the photographer's discretion?
